The Venus bar is the classical, vertical style, espresso machine made famous by La Victoria Arduino in the early 1920’s. Today, it is still hand crafted of high polished or copper with a Lacquer finish to deter tarnishing, and incorporates all of our many years of experience. Appropriately named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty, Venus, one can’t help but fall in love with the Venus Bar’s natural Beauty and method of preparing espresso, cappuccino, and other specialty coffee drinks; the “barista” turns a hand crafted, spring loaded, solid brass/copper lever which in turn, activates a semi-automatic, push button control to turn, each espresso group ON and OFF. The achievement of the Venus Bar is in its boiler and espresso-group design to minimize the loss of heat to each espresso-group, which is a critical factor in making a high quality creamy cup of espresso; the espresso groups on the Venus Bar are directly attached to the boiler. This design allows the Venus Bar’s boiler to operate under less pressure (which will make it last longer and produce less strain on the heating element) while maintaining the appropriate amount of heat for preparing espresso, cappuccino, and other specialty coffee drinks, The Venus Bar models are available with 1, 2, or 3 espresso-groups.
Standard Features: Semi-automatic operation. Espresso-grouping, espresso-group handle, and boiler flanges are made using, heavy gauge, solid brass because of the conductivity and uniformity of heat that brass provides over other alloy metals, Vertical boiler of solid copper which is extra heavy, nickel plated, internally and external, to deter water fowling. “Double Circulating Heat Exchanger” allows direct infusion of fresh water from the main water line (instead of using water from the boiler) and circulates the fresh water throughout all espresso-groups, regardless of which espresso-group is activated , to ensure a uniform temperature throughout the machine. Spring loaded safety valve on the boiler and the exchanger. Fresh water is automatically drawn into the boiler. Water inlet is controlled by an electronic control unit and a solenoid valve. The water flow to the espresso-group is controlled by a self priming motor pump to ensure consistent water flow and pressure. Large, easy to use, knobs to operate hot water and steam wands. One hot water and one high volume steam wand with anti-suction valves to deter milk from back flowing into the boiler are standard.
