A superb espresso coffee? With Master Coffee ... simply press a button. Master Coffee grinds the coffee, presses it, delivers it (espresso or caffeine-free) and expels the grounds into the collection box. The delivery unit is washed by operating the control panel. Production:180 cups of coffee/hour. The cup warmer module can hold 36x3 coffee cups of 12x3 cappuccino cups (the right number for peak production times). The parts in contact with the cups are in stainless steel 18/10. The temperature is maintained at 60° C by resistors totalling 220W. A creamy cappuccino? Master Cappuccino does it all. It has the same features as Master Coffee, plus a fridge for the milk (4lt). The cappuccino machine is washed after every use. The operations are shown on the display. Production: 180 cups of coffee - 120 cups of cappuccino/hour
The main feature of super-automatic machines is the possibility of making a cup of coffee without having first to grind the beans, dose the coffee in the filter holder, operate the machine itself and then dispose of the grounds. Nuova Simonelli was one of the first companies to produce a super-automatic model when it launched its "Logica" model in 1986, followed by the "Logica S" (S indicates hot water and steam services). The "Logica" model was equipped with a so-called "rotor" motor, while the grounds were expelled after a unit wash cycle, so that the coffee grounds were discharged into the waste water system. The "Logica" was then superseded by the "Master" model launched in 1994. "Master Coffee" was a more compact machine than "Logica" and was fitted with a motor boasting quite different technical qualities. In this machine, a dual-piston mechanism presses down the dose of coffee and makes the drink, while the grounds are expelled from the compression chamber and pushed by an internal blade into a collection tray. The "Master" machine can make around 180 cups of coffee/hour. The "Master" machine is also available as a token-operated version (in this instance, named "Master Self-Service"). A special metal base for installing the machine is also available, as well as a water container if connection to the water mains is not possible and a tray for direct gravity collection of coffee grounds. A modular cup-warmer has also been available since 1997 which can hold up to 150 coffee cups. "Master Cappuccino" is an even more advanced model than "Master Coffee", to make cappuccinos as good as those in a bar simply by pressing a button. A small fridge installed inside the machine casing can hold up to four litres of milk for four days;an adjustable "cappuccino system" warms and froths the milk, while a washing cycle automatically cleans the entire system after each cappuccino is made.
